Out of the Hat App revisa

It is a very good app. Very useful for choosing names, but if I type something really long it gets cut out. Can you fix that please?

Worthless it does nothing. It need to come with better instructions.

Navigating menu is clumsy but I am old.

This game is awesome but when I try to type it gives me hints and I am like "PLEASE STOP GIVING HINTS!"

The app is okay. It needs some improvements. You should be able to type the name once and go back in and add the same name multiple times without having to retype the name. Also, it need to give a total of each name as well as a total of all the names.

This app has a easy interface which makes it easy to use. I've used this app to draw names for Christmas gift giving and for the dinner dish selection. I would love to see future updates where you can customize the hat, have more fonts as well as ink colors in order to coordinate with your theme or the season in which you are using it for.

Works great for me to use in my business when I have drawings for prizes. I appreciate the simplicity!

Very limited amount of letters can't even spell a full name

Not enough instructions to figure out how it works. Very disappointing.

This App is worthless. It allows me to create a group name and that is it. Doesn't allow me to add a group into a hat? What next?? Nothing! Waist of money!

I use this app to decide which of my 200+ books I should read next. I have had no problems with having too many options in the hat. My only complaint is that I wish the character limit was larger for the individual selections. Some book titles are longer than I have space for.

This has come in handy for a multitude of purposes. Not just for work, but very helpful for various game hobbies. If you have a need for even occasional drawings or randomization of content, pick this app up!

I use this app for monthly contests on our FB page & it works great! It's great for random draws for family Christmas gifts too!

This app has met my needs. But I do wish it offered more. If you're looking for s simple app that allows you to pick names randomly, this will do that.

I purchased this app for .99 and it does nothing but let you input names.. Worst dollar ever spent and I've bought tampons out of a gas station bathroom dispenser..

Don't waste your money. Should be pulled from the App Store.

The app is okay, but how do you add names/numbers/etc. to the groups???

Does what it's supposed to do. Easy to create groups. I use it for monthly drawings. Great!

This app stinks. Too complicated for just a random draw.

Nice and simple use; just what I was looking for! Would love to give it 4 stars but, although I find it nicely designed and elegant, the font is too small & delicate. Would be nice if I had the option to increase font size and/or make bold text. Or perhaps just make the text bigger/bolder in the next version - easier on the eyes and easier to see!

Has bugs- says hat is empty in the middle of a drawing - have to keep resetting the hat - very annoying

Wasted money. Only let me add 20 names, then it crashes. Can't start a new group either, crashes. Save your buck!

This app doesn't work at all. The hints are annoying and not helpful. Follow the directions and no results. Hate that I paid for this app. Total waste....

It'd be great if it actually worked and didn't crash every 2 seconds .. It makes it impossible to use and a waste

Great! Does exactly what you want it to do. Although, I don't know how to delete old hat categories.

Love this app! I have used the strategy of pulling names out of the hat for years and years. No more little pieces of paper!! Love it! Thank you!

Just terrible

This app is HORRIBLE!!! It crashes whenever I try to edit an entry. Waste of $1...save your money and just draw names out of a real hat!!! :(

It worked fine with my first group. After I added more, the names to be selected began crossing into other groups. It will not allow adjustments of one group without changing the others. So, the app has become useless, if more than one group is needed.

Simple solution to a handful of problems.

I use this app in my classroom whenever I need to randomly draw student names for something. It works perfectly every time. Much more fun than pulling clothes pins or popsicle sticks with names on them, plus I don't have to worry about storage, etc.

Would like it if the results from each group are saved. Tip: if you get the app, disable hints once you figure it out.

Seems like this should be pretty straightforward. Not so much.

Just terrible.

I was hoping to use this app as a fun way to draw names for Christmas but had repeated crashes when trying to update names. After many attempts to get it to work, I ended up doing it the good ol' fashioned way on real paper. It's a fun idea, but I'm wishing I'd skipped this purchase.

It does exactly what I need it to do, which take in a bunch data and randomly select names. Easy and straightforward.

Hard to use, way more complicated than it should be.

It's a great app but the only thing is when you are in the middle of putting names in or something a thing pops up saying "here's a tip" and it tells u how to do it but when you already know how. So you have to stop what you are doing to exit it out.

... But it works fine. Once you figure out how to use it (no help from the annoying tutorials that pop up every time you click), it's the simple app that I thought it would be. Add a bunch of options, click over to a different screen, shake, and it randomly spits out one of your options. Violà.

Worked great when I first downloaded it. But a minute later it kept crashing. Not happy since I bought it for 99 cents. :(
